Poseidon 360 was founded in 2016 by Benjamin and Francisco Casado Garcia. They have come a long way from its beginnings in a New Jersey’s basement office when Francisco first started out, his passion for helping athletes made him realize that providing the best equipment for hydration was key for the youth. After intense research and impetus to turn hard work and inspiration into to a great product, Francisco had its vision turned into the Hydra Cooler product, an alternative solution to the single valve cooler. Additionally, what we were finding with single valve coolers were that players were misplacing cups, or using multiple cups during a practice, which was a waste of money and resources. I needed to find something that would hydrate my players quickly, was cost effective, and less wasteful. Each Hydra Cooler comes with 15 numbered cup holders in its cap/lid, which makes it easier for players to keep track of their cups. He calculated the amount of water needed for a team of 15 players with each athlete consuming between .75 to 3 liters of fluids during practices. One gallon is 3.78 liters and if you have 15 players you need between eight to 12 gallons of fluids per practice. The Hydra Cooler is “Multi-Valve Hydrant Unit” capable of hosting up to 12 gallons of product and deliver these thru five distinct chambers, each able to hold 2.4 gallons of fluid, which can provide five different flavors of hydration product at once.
